Alefort 2018 Breweries, Cideries & Events


With Boise being home to so many delectable beers and Idaho quickly climbing the ranks in hops and barley production, it’s only natural for Alefort (March 23-25) to bring the best of beer worlds under one tent.

More than 30 local and regional breweries & cideries will be pouring their best, freshest selections in the Alefort tent!

Fresh Beer Experience

Fresh AF American IPA will be canned at Alefort using a mobile canning line, making for an uber-fresh, one-of-a-kind beer drinking experience.


Alefort Nail Pull

Debuted in 2017, the Alefort Nail Pull gives Treeforters the opportunity to taste beer straight from the barrel. Payette Brewing co., Grand Teton Brewing, Barbarian Brewing and Sockeye Brewing will participate in the Nail Pull.


Presentations & Panels

Sour Beer Guru Lauren Salazar (New Belgium) will discuss the history of American sour beer with a sample beer tasting.

Does Beer Independence Matter? Join in on a panel discussion with Tyler Brown (Barley Browns), Rob Landerman (Woodland Empire Brewing Co.) and Lisa Morrison (Belmont Station).

Idaho’s Beer Identity is Idaho Ingredients: Listen to Meagan Anderson (Mill 95), Jake Burtenshaw (Mountain Malt), Michelle Gooding (Gooding Farms), Bobby Matthews (Alpine Brewing) and James Long (Barbarian Brewing Co.) discuss the growing Idaho beer culture.

Alefort is located on 11th and Grove Street and will be open Friday March 23rd 3-8pm, Saturday March 24th 12-8pm, and Sunday March 25th 12-7pm.

Alefort is free & open for everyone over age 21, but beer tastes a lot better with some hip tunes and fun activities, so we recommend buying a Treefort Pass!
