Treefort is right around the corner and we’re ready to give you a sneak peek at what the forts have up their sleeves for Treefort Music Fest 2018!
Discover the wide variety of fort programming at Treefort Music Fest: March 21-25, 2018
Alefort has a fresh, new and bigger location with some fresh beer selections to go with it! Alefort will be located in the parking lot directly behind the Owyhee, which means more room for drinking brews (and eating the delicious finds at Foodfort).
Comedyfort will bring you to tears (the haha funny kind) for four days during Treefort at Liquid Laugh and at Main Stage Friday and Saturday nights. Headliners are Gina Yashere, a British comedian who is the newest British Correspondant on The Daily Show, and Solomon Georgio, an openly gay African immigrant who just premiered his first half hour comedy special on Comedy Central Stand Up Presents.
Filmfort submissions are open! We are on the lookout for all of the raddest new films. If you’ve got a fresh feature, short, music video, or experimental film waiting to be discovered we want to see it. Filmfort is looking for original films that push the boundaries and inspire. Submit yours at filmfreeway.com/filmfortfest.

Hackfort is getting a head start with the premiere of a new monthly meet-up series, Hackfort Happy Hour at Lost Grove Brewery, 5 pm on Tuesday, November 21st. The goal of the Hackfort Happy Hour is to get everyone in the tech community to build more social relationships in Boise. These events will feature a short 10-15 minute talk to stimulate thought and conversation. This month features Mark Solon of Techstars. Admission is by donation, with all proceeds going to Boise Code Camp. Donate whatever you’d like when you sign up, but for every $5 increment, you’ll get one ticket for any beer that Lost Grove pours (oh, yeahhhh)!
Kidfort will host family-friendly shows and activities for all ages at The Nest Stage on Saturday & Sunday of Treefort from 12-5 pm. Kidfort will also collaborate with other forts, including a How to Create a Street Taco class for families with chef Rochelle Heathcock (Foodfort) and a Creative Writing Workshop with YA author William Ritter (Storyfort)!

Beer tastes better when it’s not trashy!
The battle against single-use plastic cups rages on. Treefort 2018 continues the tradition to reduce, reuse, and recycle wherever we can. Once again, beer will be sold and served in steel cups at Main Stage. Fight the plastic: Bring your own 16 oz steel cup to Main Stage. Steel cups may be from a previous Treefort or wherever yours came from, just make sure its 16 oz.
Drink one and you’re not done. You may only have one beer, but your steel cup will live on. Think: camping, picnics, festivals, and beyond. Beat the lines and buy yours now for only 6 bucks.
Calling all fine artists!

Each artist will display their masterpieces during Treefort Gallery hours March 21st-25th. The exhibition will be juried and will select regional and local entries of all mediums.
