Blood Party was formed in the year 2000, toured the west coast and shared pits with the likes of Lightning Bolt, Frog Eyes, Black Mountain, Tweak Bird and countless others. After a few years, The Party fell silent until now. 2020 marks the triumphant return of the rock trident. Members Jake Hite, Jeremy Miller and Josh Galloway have played in other bands, namely Cerberus Rex and Monster Dudes.
Blood Party has written an entirely new body of material. They pick up where they left off: heavy, raucous, at times dissonant at times savage. You may hear nods to bands (such as Melvins, Sleep, Unsane, Sonic Youth) from the classic eras of Touch and Go, SST, Skin Graft.
Blood Party has begun work recording an album with Brett Netson for his Scavenger Cult record label.
