About

Bone Haus delivers a sound and DIY vibe that is largely missing in the modern pantheon of rock music. Drawing influence from 60’s style garage-blues, minimalist post-punk, and desert rock psychedelia, the quartet has garnered a growing fan base that embraces their diverse and innovative approach to songwriting coupled with compelling lyricism and driving rhythms. Lead vocalist Rain Marie has a knack for creating lyrics that resonate with the listener while tackling the realities of social politics, feminism, and mental health. Cooing and
crooning one minute before wailing like a banshee in distress, the no-holds-barred vocal style turns heads and blows minds
simultaneously.
Billie Nimbuson is a guitarist’s guitarist and is often seen busking solo in Freak Alley. Studying the various techniques of blues, indie, jazz and rock while at Boise Rock School, Billie is truly a unique tunesmith with a growing collection of vintage guitars and dizzying
modern effects that are continually pushed to the limit, going where no guitarist has gone before!
Anchoring the low end and setting the feel for the band’s sound is Andre Maldonado. From years of studying and performing jazz with a foundation in playing brass instruments, he brings a fresh voice to the band’s mix of rock. Incorporating various time signatures into the songwriting and utilizing various techniques including slap, pop, and
strumming his bass while methodically soloing in several songs, he is truly the groove master of the band and technical wizard.
Percussionist Joe Black plays deep into the pocket and pummels his kit into sonic overdrive while keeping the beat swinging and swaying. With a style that is equally influenced by bouncy hip-hop, punk’s
furious intensity, and stark industrial drum machinery, he keeps the beat locked and loaded and ready to get you moving.
Currently recording and mixing the follow-up to their self-titled
debut EP, Bone Haus is poised to unleash their new album this autumn and plans for a regional tour this fall are being set into motion.
