Courtney Fairchild (Direct Input Management)
Courtney Fairchild started her career in music as a touring and recording artist. She released five albums over the course of a decade and then went on to run operations for an indie label. Afterward, she became the talent buyer and general manager at a live music venue in Pennsylvania, and then she landed in New York, where she got her first taste of managing artists.
After moving to Oakland in 2013, she started managing bands full-time and never looked back. She currently manages The Seshen, Rituals of Mine, Kelly McFarling, SISTERS, and Cave Clove and consults with a host of artists around the country. Her background as an artist coupled with her experience working at a label and music venue give her a unique perspective as a manager. She works with her artists to define success on their own terms and her philosophy as a manager is simple: to serve the artist, serve the music, and to make sure that everyone involved enjoys the process.
