Daniel Bowen is the founder of Applied Machine Intelligence; a recent venture with his cofounder, Matt Richmond.
Daniel’s tech career started in Boise in 2009 with BookLamp – a local startup was acquired by iTunes in 2014. Many of the methods and algorithms Daniel designed with BookLamp were integrated into the Apple Books app and other text-related business processes. He continued to work as a Data Scientist on many of iTunes’ services across the myriad of devices and software that iTunes’ users use. He later spent a little over a year with LexisNexis, helping many of their global teams instrument and spin up data science operations, until starting his own business in 2020.
Daniel was also a professional placekicker in the 2021 Indoor Football League season, most recently kicking for both the Tucson Sugarskulls and the Duke City Gladiators.
