A southern California based multimedia artist, Plexusplay combines stunning 3D animated landscapes with electronic mallet virtuosity to create a show unlike any other. Fusing house, glitch hop, and jazz improvisation, Plexusplay unleashes synth solos, chords, and live drum beats all from his synth mallet instrument set to backdrop story visuals. He has toured in the U.S. and internationally in Europe and the Middle East, with select performances including opening for LA electronica duo KNOWER, headlining the Idyllwild Jazz in the Pines Festival, and recording on a number one Japan billboard hot 100 song. During quarantine, Matt has broadened his knowledge of 3D animation and continuously releases animated music videos. His art aims to be light-hearted, comedic, and thought-provoking.
